Position Overview

The Associate Product Manager is a product manager in training and plays a supporting role in the development & execution of product growth strategies. As a member of the product team, this position helps identify, develop, and manage product enhancements based on consumer research and analysis. The Associate Product Manager also supports the coordination of marketing planning and execution. On a regular cadence, this position will summarize and present the results of their initiatives to product management and marketing leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads business sustaining and enhancing initiatives for assigned product line(s).                   
  • Works on business intelligence to understand the consumer, market and competition.           
  • Identifies product marketing opportunities, then develops and presents proposals to test them.               
  • Liaise with the marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products.
  • Monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching.              
  • Create support and training documents for internal and external users.            
  • Provides data analysis into sales and costs drivers.                  

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • 1-2+ years of product management, marketing or related experience
  • Understanding of business and marketing fundamentals
  • Motivated with data driven mindset


  • Master’s degree
  • 3-5+ years of product management experience
  • Experience in the Consumer Services industry

  • Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.

  • Fingering and Repetitive motions; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.
  • Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have: 

  • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy,  such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
