Job Description

Position Overview

Implements and manages a comprehensive product marketing cycle including identification of market potential, establishing of pricing and market strategies, and, definition of promotional activities.  Compiles and evaluates research on the market’s product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality.  Establishes marketing strategies including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans, and future product development to manage the product’s life cycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages in-life product performance – sales, profitability, cancels, renewals, etc.
  • Leads a dedicated team to support and drive success of the product line.
  • Liaises with internal partners in strategic planning, promotions, positioning, and creative development.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regular communication.
  • Coordinates research and testing efforts, from development to post-service to renewal/retention.
  • Develops and manages product roadmap, from concept through sun-setting and/or conversion. Identifies opportunities for process/business rule improvement to drive efficiency and results.
  • Builds plans that represent all customer, internal and external.
  • Identifies market, segment, and channel opportunities.
  • Creates KPI reports to track product revenue, profit, and retention performance by division, region, and sales channel.
  • Creates data insights that allow product to optimize service offers within region.
  • Provides data analysis into sales and costs drivers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 5+ years of product management experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in strategic development and marketing implementation preferred
  • Adaptability and agility in changing circumstances; handling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to interpret trends and patterns Ability to coach and train

Incumbent is required to have: 
• Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy,  such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent will be subject to:
• Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
